The Watch
Ethan is a normal kid, living a normal life, but he doesn't want to be normal. Everyone he knows always has better, more exciting stories to tell about their lives. Why shouldn't he have a story that everyone talks about? Well, today that changes. After today everyone will be talking about him. "The Watch" is a short short story I wrote as an experiment in writing styles. It's short enough to read on a break while still being fun and entertaining. It is a fast, brief look at why some choices are made and the sometimes not-so-expected consequences of those choices. |
